Re: 2003 Mercury EFI 4 Stroke 115 HP I bought a one of these motors brand new. Had the same problems along with several others. Had to replace the high pressure fuel pump and the injectors. Along with that the powerhead was replaced in the first 3 months of operation. The control module went out the 3rd year.

Fuel is coming from a 5 gallon container pressurized by the pumper bulb. If I use starting fluid it starts and continues to run good, both hi and low rpm.
